Terms and Conditions

By accessing or purchasing from Ujin Matcha House, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. These terms apply to all sales, services, and interactions with our business, whether in-store or online. 


 

1. Products & Services

  • All items, including drinks, food, and merchandise, are subject to availability. 
  • We reserve the right to withdraw or change any product, service, or pricing at any time without prior notice. 
  • Prices are in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST unless stated otherwise.
     

2. Orders, Payments & Refunds

  • Payment is required in full at the time of purchase. 
  • We accept cash, EFTPOS, and approved credit/debit cards. 
  • Refunds or exchanges are offered in accordance with Australian Consumer Law for faulty or incorrect products. Change-of-mind refunds are not available for food and beverage purchases.
     

3. Allergens & Dietary Requirements

  • While we take care to accommodate dietary needs, all food and beverages may contain traces of allergens (including nuts, gluten, soy, and dairy). 
  • Customers are responsible for informing staff of any allergies prior to ordering. We cannot guarantee allergen-free products.
     

4. Intellectual Property

  • All branding, logos, images, menus, and written content remain our property and are protected by Australian copyright law. 
  • You may not copy, reproduce, or use our materials without prior written permission.
     

5. Customer Conduct

  • Customers must treat staff and other patrons with respect. 
  • We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone engaging in unlawful, abusive, or disruptive behaviour. 
  • Harassment, hate speech, bullying, promotions, or spam are not tolerated in any form.
     

6. Website & Online Use

  • We are not responsible for inaccuracies, errors, or downtime on our website. 
  • External links are provided for convenience only — we are not responsible for third-party content.
     

7. Limitation of Liability

  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss, damage, or injury arising from use of our products or services, except as required under Australian Consumer Law.
     

8. Changes to Terms & Conditions

  • We may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The latest version will always be available in-store or on our website.

Return and Refund Policy

At Ujin Matcha House, we want you to enjoy every experience with us. Our Refund & Exchange Policy is designed to meet the requirements of the Australian Consumer Law while keeping things simple for our customers. 


1. When You Are Entitled to a Refund or Exchange

We will provide a refund, exchange, or replacement if your purchase:

  • Is faulty or damaged. 
  • Is unsafe to consume. 
  • Is significantly different from the description provided. 
  • Does not do what we said it would do. 


2. When Refunds or Exchanges Are Not Available

  • Change of mind: We do not offer refunds or exchanges if you simply change your mind, order the wrong item, or decide you no longer want the product. 
  • Partially consumed food or drinks: Once a product has been consumed, we cannot process a return unless it meets the conditions in Section 1. 
  • Allergen-related issues: It is the customer’s responsibility to inform staff of allergies before ordering. We cannot guarantee allergen-free products.
     

3. Proof of Purchase

You must provide proof of purchase (e.g., receipt, bank statement, order confirmation) for all refund or exchange requests.


4. Refund Method

Approved refunds will be processed using the same payment method used for the original purchase.
